Looking for Alaska by John Green

Can I just preface this by saying that it was an AMAZING book.

General Info:
221 Pages
$8.99 on Amazon
Mentions sex, drugs, and all around good fun.

Synopsis:
This book is about a boy name charlie who in the begining of the book has a very unintresting life. So in order to find his "great perhaps" he enrolls himself into a boarding school. Away from his parents, home, and nonexistant friends. There he meets a few friends that change his life completely.

Characters & Plot Line:
I gotta say I loved each and every main character. But my favorite guy charecter was Colonel while my favortie girl character was of course Alaska Young. All of the charecters in this book were spunky in ther own way. you really had a clear image of who everyone was. The main protagonist Pudge wasn't my favorite character because Colonel was just such a funny guy. The plot line was even more AMAZING. In the begining I had so many laugh out loud moments, but by the end it made me teary eyed. There were so many funny moment and so many heart touching moments I could help but squeeeel.

Opinion:
I LOVE THIS BOOK. it is an awesome awesome book. not only is it an extremely fun and wonderful read but every word in this book is so meaningful. I usually never ever use a highlighter on my books but I didn't want to forget a qoute so I just got out the highlighter and di my thing. Overall  if you couldnt tell I really recommend this book. After reading this I'll be trying and getting my hands on more of his books.

I hope you enjoyed this review. Thanks for reading!

The Days are Too Short

its ridiculous how short the days seem. having summer school and a crap ton of things to do doesnt make it any better either. im sorry about the lack of reviews but i just have no time to sit down and read. i will probably get to reading lord of the flies and then go on to read the book thief or looking for alaska. anyways, ill write back soon

Classics

So, what do you guys think about classics? I mean I wish I was one of those people that know how to appreciate a classic, but I don't have the patience to really wait for the meaning of the book to hit me. I've always been an instant gratification girl. Which is something I wish I could change. Over the summer I think I'm going to try and get more into classics. So first I'm reading lord of the flies. then, to kill a mockingbird. Honestly, classics make me sleep. Hopefully things will change. Byebye.
